The AI visibility and booking leak check

Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Google's AI overview and Perplexity for the kind of trip you sell. The check tells you what they say, why they say it, and what happens to the travellers who do find you. One page about your firm, not a template. We go through it with you in 30 minutes.

Why it matters now

54% of UK adults now use AI tools, up from 31% the year before (Ofcom, Adults' Media Use and Attitudes, April 2026). 61% of US and UK travellers use an AI assistant in the early stages of planning, and 95% check what it says somewhere else before they act (The Trade Desk and PA Consulting, December 2025 to March 2026). Traffic sent to travel sites by assistants rose 194% in a year (Adobe Analytics, May 2026). The assistants decide who to recommend from what other people publish about you, and only then read your own pages to describe you. 86% of what they cite comes from a company's own site and listings (Yext, 2025). If nothing outside your site says what your site says, you are not on the list.

What the check covers

  1. What the assistants say. We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Google's AI overview and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, as a stranger would, and record the answers word for word. Named or not named, and who was named instead.
  2. Why. The sources each assistant used. Directories and review sites. Trade bodies and forums. Your own Google Business Profile and listings. Whether your name, address and phone number read the same in every one of them. One mismatch and the assistants trust you less. Each assistant reads different places: In one day of hotel searches, Google's AI mode took 72% of its citations from Google's own profiles and reviews, while Gemini's top source was small directories at 27%, cited twice as often as Booking.com (Staunton Rook analysis of Moz AI Visibility data, 18 October 2026).
  3. What your own pages let them read. Once an assistant decides to mention you, it describes you in its own words from your site. We check whether your pages answer the questions in plain text, or hide the answer in a booking engine, an image or a PDF.
  4. Where the booking leaks. How long an enquiry waits before a person replies. Whether a quote that goes quiet is followed up. Whether the price on the page matches the price in the booking engine. How many steps it takes to pay.

What you get

One page: The four answers above, the three things to fix first, and a baseline you can re test yourself in a month. You keep the page whether or not we work together. If you want the fixes done, that is a separate conversation with a fixed quote per phase.

What it costs

Free for five travel businesses attending WTM London on 3 and 4 November 2026, in exchange for 30 minutes to go through the findings. After the five, the check is £500 plus VAT, fixed, with the same one page and the same 30 minutes.

What we do not do

We do not write reviews, seed forums or build directories that point at you. The check reports what is there. The fixes are your pages, your listings and your follow up process.

Questions people ask

Do travellers really book through AI?

Not yet in numbers. They plan with it and then check your site, your reviews and your booking page. The check looks at whether that chain holds.

We already rank on Google. Is this different?

The foundations are the same. The difference is that the assistants read your whole site for context and choose who to name from third party sources, so a site that ranks can still go unmentioned.

Which assistants?

ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI overview, because that is where consumers ask. Perplexity because it shows its sources. Claude is mainly a business tool, so it is in the record but not the headline.

How long does it take?

About a week from the questions you give us to the page in your hands. The 30 minute walk through is at the show or on a call after.

Five free checks for WTM London attendees. Comment "WTM" on the post, message the Knight Li Group page, or book the 30 minutes here.
