Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Plain English, kept short. What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Knight Li Group (“we”, “us”) is a UK-based digital consultancy. This site is knightligroup.com. If you have any question about privacy, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email hello@knightligroup.com and a person will answer you.
What we collect
- Booking details. When you book a call through our scheduling page, Cal.com collects your name, email address and the answers you give to the booking questions, and passes them to us.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we hold the message and your address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests to this site — IP address, browser type, page requested, time — for security and reliability.
- Website analytics. This site does not use tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that measures aggregate visits (pages viewed, referring sites, country) without cookies, fingerprinting or tracking individual visitors.
We do not ask for or store payment card details on this website, and we do not collect special category data (health, beliefs, and so on).
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- Responding to your enquiry and arranging calls — legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- Delivering services you have engaged us for — performance of a contract.
- Keeping the site secure and working — legitimate interest.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so the site and our business can run:
- Cal.com — scheduling and booking.
- Google Workspace — our email.
- Cloudflare — privacy-first, cookieless website analytics.
- Netlify — hosting and delivery of this website.
- Framer — serves the page runtime and fonts used by our travel page. It sets no cookies or local storage.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally it is protected by the safeguards in the provider’s own terms, such as the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking details are kept for as long as we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records relating to an engagement are kept for as long as the engagement runs, plus the period we are required to keep business and tax records. Server logs and analytics are kept for the provider’s standard retention period.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@knightligroup.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
